At approximately 120km from the border to Namibia Springbok is its gateway. Set in the Namakwa region of the Northern Cape Province, Springbok is the ideal overnight stop and is situated halfway between Cape Town and Windhoek on the N7 Cape to Namibia route.
Springbok’s main income source is from tourism and mining undertakings. Visitors flock here during flower season when the whole region becomes a hive of activity. The Blue Mine in Springbok was the first commercial mine in South Africa mining copper.
